Included Activities
Legal Psilocybin Session
Journey days take place in the warm, supportive environment of Drop Thesis, a nearby licensed service center. Oregon law requires that psilocybin sessions occur within a licensed facility, and transportation is provided with the support of your facilitators for this part of your experience.
Each journey is guided by skilled facilitators who hold space with intention, presence, and discernment. The goal is not escape, but unwinding, reconnection, and the emergence of perspective — a return to your own inner clarity and wisdom.
Soaking Pool
Tucked beneath open sky and glowing tile, the soaking pool at Old St. Francis School feels like a small sanctuary within the retreat. Steam rises as rain or snow drifts through the open ceiling, creating a gentle contrast between warmth and weather. Turquoise tile, luminous stained glass, and the hand-crafted mural of St. Francis harvesting grapes surround the water with quiet beauty, inviting the body to soften and the nervous system to reset. It’s a place to let the experience settle — floating, breathing, and slowly returning to yourself.
Drake Park
Drake Park sits in the heart of Bend, where the Deschutes River moves gently past old trees, open lawns, and quiet walking paths. Just steps from Drop Thesis, it offers a natural place to decompress before and after ceremony — to walk, journal, or simply sit by the water as your nervous system settles. The river, the light, and the steady rhythm of the park create an effortless bridge between inner work and the living world.
Meals at McMenamins
Meals at McMenamins are more than just nourishment — they’re part of the grounding process. Thoughtfully prepared food, a relaxed atmosphere, and the comfort of a historic setting help bring you fully back into the body. It’s where stories, laughter, and quiet reflection meet, allowing what emerged during ceremony to gently weave into everyday human connection.
Tenured Facilitators
At Drop Thesis, we believe the right facilitator is at the heart of every safe and transformative psilocybin journey. Feeling fully supported, safe, comfortable, and deeply cared for allows you to step into the experience with trust.
Our facilitators are carefully chosen not only for their training and professional expertise but also for the qualities that matter most: warmth, compassion, presence, and integrity.
Each member of our team is dedicated to walking beside you with care, respect, and wisdom, creating a space where true healing and growth can unfold.

The retreat cost is $ 3,500. This includes accommodations at McMenamins St. Francis, the psilocybin session, preparation and integration sessions, day after integration, and a $200 resort dining credit.
-
We typically use a dose between 20–35 mg of psilocybin. This range is based on clinical research studies and is adjusted according to individual factors such as your previous experience with psilocybin, current medications, and personal intentions. Dosage is always discussed with your facilitator during your private preparation session to ensure safety and alignment with your goals.
-
All psilocybin used in our retreats is cultivated by state-licensed manufacturers and tested by a state-licensed laboratory for purity and potency. This means we know exactly how much active ingredient is in your dose, providing both safety and consistency for your experience.
-
Each participant has a comfortable place to rest on and is offered an eye mask to encourage inward focus. We recommend dressing in layers (front-zip sweaters are easier than pullovers), bringing a water bottle, and a meaningful photo or small object for our shared sacred space. Facilitators remain present with you throughout the entire experience, offering support as needed while honoring a non-directive approach. Music is carefully curated to enhance the journey.
-
Research and personal accounts suggest psilocybin may support:
• Reduction of anxiety, depression, and addiction symptoms
• Increased creativity, openness, and compassion
• Emotional healing and trauma release
• New perspectives during life transitions
• A deepened sense of spiritual connection and meaning
-
The effects typically last 4-7 hours, with the peak of the experience in the first half of that time. Integration and reflection follow the active portion of the session.
-
Yes. This retreat is conducted in full compliance with Oregon’s Measure 109, which established a legal, regulated psilocybin services program. All facilitators are state-licensed, and all sessions take place in licensed service centers.
-
In a carefully guided and legal setting such as this retreat, psilocybin has a strong safety profile. Each participant is screened for medical and psychological contraindications to ensure safety. Facilitators are present throughout the experience to provide grounding support.
Psilocybin is not recommended for individuals with certain medical or psychiatric conditions (such as a personal or family history of psychosis), or for those taking specific medications that may interact. All participants are thoroughly screened in advance to ensure safety.
